In acordance with the records of IEEE Membership & Services, IEEE Education Society counts as the first preference for IEEE members, in Colombia by July of 2001. Actually 47 persons are members of Education Society followed by Communications Society with 17 persons. Near of 2000 persons who live in Colombia are members of IEEE in several grades, as Students, Gradute Students, Members, Senior Members, and Life Members.
